Do you suppose this is how Oprah got started? Just sitting around one day a little bored and decided to start a new cult. She is a little more subtle than Bucky.

Once Opra left her spiritual roots, there was no anchor to keep her from drifting in the wind. Being human, she still longs for a connection with her creator and instead of going directly to Him, has instead sought advice from other clueless humans. Like the Bible says, when the blind lead the blind, they both fall into the ditch.
