About

Our wedding

These are my random thoughts…about everything.

My passion is Jesus Christ.  My calling is intercession and corporate prayer and teaching others about corporate prayer.  I have written an book on corporate intercession.  It was developed after years of teaching intercessors how to pray together.  You can check it out at The War Manual and even read the first chapter.

I am married to Dennis.  We were married in July of 2007 (Yes, on 07/07/2007 – I figure

Dennis and I have a heart for training up young leaders.  We believe in mentoring.  We are developing  mentoring programs for young people (ages 17-22) who have an interest in participating in ministry (full or part time).  We feel there is a great need for mentoring and that most pastors and leaders do not have the time to devote to it (although, we believe that with the right tools they will able to implement some type of program to pour into others).  Our hope is to mentor up to 12 students at one time (maybe 12 each) in the areas of integrity, service, prayer, worship, and excellence.  And to teach others to mentor.

We also have a desire to train up teams of intercessors to pray for specific churches and ministries.  We have developed two “conferences” a one day and three day conference.  We are available to speak to groups great and small…no group is too large and no group is too big!

As far as blogging goes…welcome to my blog.  Feel free to comment.  Please use appropriate language, etc.  I don’t mind a different opinion just be nice.  I reserve the right to delete your comment.

Be Blessed!

This is true. i believe we are at a crucial time in this era where we are one step closer to a postmodern and post Christian society. we all need to see that the very leaders of our future should be equipped to faifully defend their faith despite an onslaught of secular humanism

i appreciate your comment…. I have added you to my blogroll. are you a full time intercessor as well?

Comment by timbrownlee

I am an intercessor. I guess along the way we all find ways to describe it. I would say I am an intercessor with an Isaiah calling. A large part of my calling is equipping intercessors to pray for their church or ministry. I also participate in citywide events whenever possible (I’m not sure what effort is being made in our city).

Congrats on the book. When will is be released?
Thank you for your comment on my blog. I really appreciate kind words. I do believe in profecy, but that moment in time – 23 years ago – still puzzles me. I have to admit. I feel better now that I have blogged about it.

Anyway, thanks again,
Shannon

Here’s a question for you: In the Bible, what is the other name for an intercessor? When you discover this answer, then that’s your true calling. Not just an intercessor or teacher.

Comment by Larry Who

Hey Larry, guess what? I already know the answer to that…intercessors are also called Watchmen. I already know my calling….there is no question.

saw your comment on Brandiandboys about super powers. One day when you are pregnant, you will indeed have super powers. That’s one of the fun things about pregnancy is all the little quirks God throws in for our entertainment. You will develop a superior sense of smell. Really. You will hate foods you always loved and love foods you always hated. Until the delivery. Then it all goes back. There are so many of these. Write them down and then do blog or Twitter them.

I’m encouraged by your site. Your picture is gorgeous and I love the passion you show for your calling. Mentoring, training up the next generation is incredibly valuable. All the best to you and you’re husband!!
