Wanted to share something that has been working for me.  When I am working on a project, like I am these days,  it swirls around in my brain and in my spirit.  I will often get ideas at random times.  I’ve been jotting down ideas in this little notebook.  And then when I have a few hours, I will put the idea in my book.  I may not expand on it at the time but it is in there.

Big thing to remember (because I’m one of those people who will write random notes on the back of a receipt) is to expand enough on the thought so when you go back to it you will know what you meant.  Also, no receipts, get a little notebook.

Another great tip I read recently on the http://www.nanowrimo.org/ website is….write!  Don’t worry about editing or reviewing, just write there will be time for edits later.

So, back to my book project.  (I actually have two more blog ideas swirling right now but sometimes, you have to make yourself do the writing for the project that is in your spirit!)

I’m participating in NaNoWriMo as well! Though, admittedly, not the same genre as the book you’re writing! They have some top-notch contributors / key-note speakers at NaNoWriMo.org to encourage the aspiring writer!
